An excellent,
fully restored Seeburg V200, the Rolls-Royce of jukeboxes. Made
in 1955 and the first jukebox to have 200 selections. This is
the machine that set the benchmark in sound and engineering
excellence for years to come. The fully visible mechanism sits
behind a huge curve of glass surrounded with sparkling chrome.
The titles are displayed by an innovative rotating drum with the
different classification titles set in the centre corresponding
to the 5 buttons below. Comes
with a rare original teardrop speaker and a working wall-box
making a nice matched set. click

| Wurlitzer
2000 unrestored |
This is a Wurlitzer
Centennial, made in 1956 it was Wurlitzer's first 200 selection
Jukebox and coincidentally celebrated the company's 100 anniversary. This
machine is unrestored the photo shows the finished article.
This is THE no 1 collectable Jukebox today; it has all the elements
of the classic fifties style, with a strong influence from the
chrome-laden cars of the same era. The wrap around glass screen
shows off the records in full view, and the Wurlitzer mechanism
is fascinating to watch as it plays the record in the vertical
position right on centre stage. To give the patrons a better
view the Wurlitzer engineers went to great lengths designing
a set of turning page assemblies either side of the main title
board area. At the push of a button the pages turn to reveal
the title strips, a unique feature that was not only expensive
to produce but also tricky for the operators to maintain.
The coloured light
shields cast a green and red glow across the pierced metal grille.
Behind this grille are the five speakers that give this Jukebox
it's punchy full range sound, there are 3x 12 " bass speakers
and two tweeters, powered by a rebuilt valve amplifier using
2x 6l6 outputs this Jukebox rocks!
Dimensions are 55 5/8" tall, 27 7/8" deep and 33 11/16"
wide, it is mounted on 4 rubber castors so it is simple to move
around.

item this jukebox needs restoration.

Made by
the Aerion corporation in Kansas City in the U.S.A. this must
be one of the more unusual jukeboxes to appear in the forties.
The cabinet design was definitely looking forward to the next
decade but the robust and novel mechanism was firmly fixed in
the forties! Fascinating to watch it is a pity that the record
changer is not on show but hidden behind the colour animation
in the front doors. Restored and playing well a real gem.

| A.M.I.
Continental MK1 SOLD |
Designed
in the age when the first Sputnik was launched into space the
A.M.I. team were also looking to the stars. The Continental
was a radical departure from the 'normal' jukebox design school.
With its wrap around title strip holder hovering seductively
over a space bubble that displays the record changer this is
a jukebox that just grabs your attention. Latterly brought back
to the public's imagination through film classics such as Wayne's
World and Ghost.
This example is in excellent condition throughout. Looks and
sounds fabulous. Dimensions are 65" x 30 ¼"
x 28 7/8" and weight is 320 lbs. As with all of the jukeboxes
on this site it is mounted on a set of castors to make moving
it a simple operation.

| A.M.I. H 200
1957 SOLD another available |
Just in is superb example of one of the most
popular jukeboxes available, it is an AMI model I 200 made in
1958 by A.M.I who were based in Grand Rapids, Michigan U.S.A.
Following on from the AMI H200 it has the same sound system
and mechanism, the only difference being the design of the cabinet.
This example is the black and pink colour scheme, the jukebox
has been fully restored and the machine is in superb order throughout.
Playing 200 selections on 45 rpm it has a fabulous sound, and
the original sales brochure extols the virtue of the effectiveness
of the multiple exponential horns driven by the high output
amplifier.
With the wrap-around heavy glass screen giving a fine view of
the record changing mechanism and the liberal use of chrome
this is a 'must have' jukebox.

Just in stock a lovely original AMI I 200
with the push button selection. This is the most desirable
AMI and it looks and sounds fantastic. These are
getting very hard to find ,this being the most desirable
combination of colour scheme and specification. Very good
original chrome set off by the original paint and good
original buttons make this AMi just right. The rebuilt
amplifier gives it a fabulous sound with enough volume
to fill any room.

Made in 1974 this was the last
model Wurlitzer produced before bankruptcy. With a
production run of only 2000 this was the company's nostalgic
look back at the 40's .It was
very expensive to produce and was ahead of the times. In the
70's jukeboxes were becoming more utilitarian with the
mechanism hidden from view and cabinets were more angular.
Now it is one of THE most collectible
machines as it combines the beauty of the forties jukeboxes
with the performance and usability of a modern 45 player.
This is a superb original example that sounds and
looks fantastic.
